In the late 1940s a group of radio personalities team up with a sound effects man to bring the beloved holiday story of George Bailey to life. On Christmas Eve the idealistic George is faced with a lost bank deposit and dire consequences, so he contemplates suicide and wishes he were never born. Clarence Odbody, a 292-year-old guardian angel, intervenes and shows George what the world would’ve been like without him. George reawakens with a new appreciation for his life and the people he loves. This delightful retelling also includes radio jingles and holiday songs reminiscent of the time, to warm the hearts of audiences, young and old.
